All you need to know for this item is that it is good for any martial arts and can be paired nicely with compression shorts. and school shirt. Kids dont need that much velcro support. Velcros is extremely annoying. Also, my kid finds it uncomfortable and it just very hard. Imagine wearing 'T' shaped stick around your waist and try to sit and crouch. Terrible...But its cheap ... You get what you paid for I guess
