I only used the new, small humidifier for about 3 months during winter, but this seemed to work well to keep the water from calcifying. But I also took proper care of the humidifier. So -- benefit of the doubt, but so far so good.

Effective. Keeping a humidifier clean is very important but hard to do. These have been effective in keeping visible growth from happening, also prevents that slimy feeling on humidifier surfaces. Two indicators that these drops work.

I have had my new large humidifier for a little over 2 weeks and also have a small one for my bed room. Both humidifiers are cool mist with atomizers and were cleaned at the time I started using these drops. I used the product as directed and just cleaned both of them today after 2 weeks of use. I am pleasantly surprised at how clean both units were. No mold, mildew, or mineral build-up. I only had a small grayish water level line that appears to be from a light oil residue in our water supply in the large humidifier. The large unit uses about 8 gallons of water a day so I really thought that it would be way worse. I believe that I could have gone 4 weeks between cleaning but will work up to that until I am convinced that nothing bad will grow/build-up. I recommend this product.

Poor bottle design. Product should be dispensed in “drops” but the opening streams out so you can’t know how many drops are being added & you are going to fly through the product , needing to buy more!

This product is quite effective; while it doesn't completely eliminate the presence of pink mold, it significantly increases the interval between cleanings. In fact, I've noticed that I can go about twice as long before needing to scrub and clean again, which is a great time-saver.

The instruction calls for drops based on water volume, but it just streams out. Hard to control and most likely ends up putting more. Had no such issue with the other leading brand. I assume it works from ingredient wise.
