These crab pots are junk. Flimsy and I bet only last a single season. Connection points require you to turn down connections with pliers rather than coming preassembled. So flimsy that unless you use zip ties to tie the corners together crab can easily escape. Not recommended.

We had to tweak these a little bit with zip ties and things like that, but overall these work great for the money! Especially since everything is included! We've been out with them crabbing three times! They seem to catch a decent amount

Almost everything has to be reinforced but they give you a good platform to start with. I like them for now.

Nice trap for the money. The opening for the escape hole should be a tad bit wider to comply with CA standards. I had to bend my corners in a little, no big deal.
