I'm a pretty hands on kind of guy but when it comes to solder onto small connectors I SUCK! lol. That's why I love these pre-made solderless 2 pin connectors for LED strips. One end comes with exposed wires to twist into your existing layout and the other is the press connector for 2 pin LED strips. Make sure you are getting the right size for the right connectors. Not much more to say other than great product, great quality, and relatively cheap.

I'm pretty adept at soldering, but there is a convenience factor when it comes to getting out the iron, the solder, the lights, etc. Especially if you're just trying to throw up one or two new connections for LED light boxes (my main go to with LEDs). It's much easier and faster to screw down a couple screws to have a nice stable and solid connection. This is AWESOME for that. Just make sure you get the correct size for your LED strip because they're obviously not all 8mm, nor are they all COB or +- connections (most aren't). Regardless, these work great for my situation with some 5v led strips are are on/off in a light box. I'm happy with these and will definitely pick up more when I run out!

Works great. Yields a solid connection to a COB light strip, without soldering. Two screws connect to the strip, and another two screws connect to the power leads. (already connected) There is adhesive backing on the connector to mount the unit. You'll need to strip back the silicon cover of waterproof strips. I've found a razorblade from the end of the strip works well for that.

These are perfect for connect strips and it may not look like a lot but, It's prob more than needed. So if any issues, I'm covered. I was first going to get a roll of wire, but these worked well for everything I needed. The price can't be beat either!

I ordered a 16-foot COB light strip to meet my needs, but I faced a challenge during installation. Between the two countertops, I have a center cabinet with upper cabinets where I planned to mount the strip. I experimented with various mounting positions—front, back, and even wrapping it around in an L-shape on each side—but none of them looked good. I also wanted to avoid running the lights through the center cabinet. While I had 12 AWG wire on hand, I wasn’t enthusiastic about cutting and soldering the ends of the COB strip.Thankfully, I discovered these connectors designed for COB 8mm-to-wire connections. They fit perfectly and are incredibly easy to install. The plastic feels durable, and the four metal screws allow for secure contact adjustments. The supplied wire is of excellent quality, with tinned copper ends that make insertion and splicing effortless. However, I needed a longer wire to bridge about 40 inches—an area I wanted to keep unlit while still maintaining power continuity. These connectors were a lifesaver, especially in tight spots where soldering would have been a nightmare. The only downside was the adhesive—it didn’t stick well and came off too easily, which was disappointing. My advice? Save yourself the hassle by measuring the width of your 2-conductor COB strip lighting beforehand. The key is ensuring the screws and contact clamps properly align with the metal contacts and that the strip slides in smoothly. If you have the correct measurements and these connectors match your setup, grab a pack or two—they’re worth it! I highly recommend them and am already planning to stock up on more.
