Wire wrap as primary of high frequency transformer, can have the inductance reduced for more current, by adding piece of scotch tape in between halves of core. This is called adding air gap. Use multi meter that has inductance reading. Add electrical tape and/ or plastic zip tie to keep the 2 halves together tight. This size EE55 is for larger wattage use Center core measurement in cm X cm = cm squared. This is used in the standard transformer math formula. - N turns wire = E volts X 10 to the 8 divided by 4 X F htz X Bsat flux density X area core sq cm. (density 1200 - 1800 or 2000)This range keeps the core from saturating during circuit on. You can manipulate values on calculator so as Basat comes out OK. Numerator or denominator will increase or decrease answer desired. 12/3=4 12/4=3 A= B / C X D or D = B / C X A I use scientific calculator TI-30SLR . Also Inductor current I amps = volts / 2 X pi X frequency htz X inductance in decimal Henries. Best general multi meter is Victor VC921. LCR multi meter as BM4070 You will also need insulated magnet wires by gauge size. No turns primary / input volts = turns per volt. Then t/v times secondary volts desired plus 10%.= turns secondary side AC.

I love how they packed them well done. :) a while back I used to get them with ferrite broken or Bobbin broken. Now them come well packed. :) I like the cost deal too. I get two. :)
