Absolutely do not work as stated. After installing this filter on my Honeywell Humidifier, for a short 2 months, the filter expanded and was hitting the fan when the unit was activated. The filter is too small for the framing and lacks the external metal support to keep the filter inform throughout use.

These are flimsy with no rigidity at all. When wet they sag causing the cap to tilt and spill water to the the bottom then out onto the floor.

Don't get these for the humidifier. They deform due to poor material and design. They started pouring water out of the fan vent. Save the hassle and get the Honeywell filters.

The pad easily separates into 3 parts and causes water to dump into the furnace and the overflow. Buy the OEM Honeywell, not worth any perceived cost savings!!!

Product was advertised to work with my Honeywell 300A humidifier. The filters become soft when wet and cause leaks. Strongly recommend to not purchase this product. The correct filter pad for a HE300A is HC26E1004.

I replaced my HC26E-1004 filter with these filters and noticed they were a bit shorter and thinner than the filter they were replacing when dry. Then when they got wet they shrunk/compressed so much that they barely stayed in the filter housing, causing water to leak out of the housing, down the furnace, and on the floor. The filters are not large enough to replace the HC26E-1004 filters that they claim to replace, so DO NOT buy as a replacement!

Ordered a box of these filters and after a few days there was a lot of water on the floor around the furnace. Our furnace and Honeywell HE250 Humidifier are fairly new. Discovered the problem. The filter is so soft it collapsed inside the humidifier filter holder allowing water to run straight through and ending up on the floor. Purchased new Honeywell original filters.

They fit but they are too soft. They bend only with the airflow. My humidifier is a HE250 by Honeywell. I'm not sure it's gonna do the job.
