This will work great so I can plug my 20amp MiG welder into my 30 amp power cord.

I got this adapter to convert 30A RV campground recepticals into a standard 110V plug that my shore power can use. This adapter is solidly built, the material feels like a rubber/reinforced plastic hybrid, and it can withstand a lot of force. Overall length is about 3.75", and it will stick out of the outlet just under 3". It does receive the 20A male plug (with horizontal and vertical prongs), as well as the typical 15A male end (vertical prongs). I am super happy that I got this for my campervan!
