Install Instruction:
Step1: According to the thickness of the door to select a suitable bolt, then screw the bolt into the hole.
Step2: Insert the unit barrel together with the FPC cable through the peephole of door , then stick the outdoor part on door.
Step3: Take out the metal bracket, pass the FPC cable through the rectangular hole ,pass the right screw through the round hole of the metal bracket ,then to lock, the metal bracket with the outdoor part tightly.
Step4: Connect the FPC cable from outdoor part to the connector of the indoor part.
Step5: The four slots on the back of indoor part is aligned with four projection on metal bracket and buckle up , the pull down the outdoor part to be locked tightly.

I have another LCD peephole that unfortunately fell and the screen stopped working so forced to replace. I looked for the same one which was not available. I had few to choose from and got this model. What a disappointing downgrade, the quality of the image is so much poorer the colors are hardly there—very bland shades of gray and brown tone. So disappointed. Will look very much forward to having to replace this model.

I got this to replace the peephole in my door so that I could look out without revealing my presence by blocking the light from inside. It works well for that, It's easy enough to install, needed a 9/16 hole but the original peephole thingy was only 1/2 inch. Didn't have a drill bit that size so I used my tapered ream to enlarge the hole in my steel clad door.The sorta part comes from the picture on the screen. My mistake for not trying it out before I installed it but the picture is very red shifted, sort of black and white with various shades of red instead of shades of grey, not color like the pictures showed. It would have gone back if I had tested it first. The lack of color had nothing to do with lack of light, the picture doesn't vary much between full daylight and almost dusk, it's sharp enough and the view is better than the peephole. The night vision works I guess but all I can see is a dot of light from a very dim streetlight, the rest is completely dark.i can live with the red tint, otherwise it works well enough which is why i only took off one star.
