Use these to secure my tarps over the chicken run to protect them from the weather. These work great and allow me to take it off easily.

These cord ball bungees look and feel decent. I ordered the 4-inch ones, which are short and can be used around the house to tie things up, such as electric cords. They are too short to work well with tarp, tent, and canopy.Their webpage claims that they are made from 100% natural latex, which is great since natural latex is known to be more elastic and environmentally friendly than synthetic latex. Natural latex is produced using the sap extracted from rubber trees. I am a retiree now, but when I was in my early twenties, I used to live yards from a large rubber tree plantation, so I know well how that sap is extracted. On the other hand, synthetic latex is made from petroleum-based compounds.For years, I had five canopies around my house. The largest canopy measured 30 feet long and about 12 feet wide. Over the years, I have bought several hundred ball bungee cords, most of which were 9-inch ones, and more than 50 tarp clips. Compared to them, these bungee cords are good but not great. However, considering their affordability and being made from the more environmentally friendly natural latex, they get an extra star, and I recommend them.

I have a garage shelter that I have converted to a camping tent, and while the tarp and poles, etc are fine, the bungees were fading fast. I got these to replace the dying ones, and they work great! Considering getting another set and replacing them all. Well made, useful, and a good value.
