I use is to keep water from splashing over to my couches from the opening above my sink. It works very well. It's black so it goes with my decor and doesn't look weird.

This foldable splatter guard is a great addition to my kitchen. While it claims to be made of metal, it doesn’t quite feel like it. It’s lightweight, which makes it easy to handle, but I do wish it had a bit more weight for added stability. Despite that, it works well at blocking oil splashes, and its large size perfectly covers my two-burner gas stove.Overall, it’s helpful in reducing oil splatter while cooking, though a heavier design would make it even better.

You don’t have to worry about this falling over or scratching your stove. It’s heavy duty and the edges are lined with thick rubber.
