Purchased to put under the lid of a 41" toolbox. It would up matching the connection on my previous lighting. Was able to plug-n-play with my current lighting and it works.

These lights will absolutely light up any gloomy work area you may have. They are very bright and need to be mounted kind of high, like more than 8ft up or they will inadvertently blind you. There are a couple of ways to install them from daisy chaining them to direct connecting them or individually. I went with connecting them directly as I didn't have a very big area to light up, essentially making them one big 4ft light. The mounting process is simple and only consists of screwing in the small metal brackets. Then snapping the lights into the brackets. Its a good thing the lights are made of aluminum because its a tight fit.Then its just a matter of finding somewhere to put the switch and your done. Couldn't be easier. These are great for lighting up pretty much any place indoors that needs extra lighting at the flip of a switch.

These lights are insanely bright for their small size. I have various size under cabinet and shop lights and these seem to be the brightest per foot of anything. So, install only where you need a very, very bright light. This is too much light for under cabinet unless you're doing some speciality work that needs it. They're very sleek and small so probably need to be protected from debris as there is no shroud like many shop lights. There is a plastic shield over the LEDs. They can plug together or be used separately.Seems a bit pricey for what you get, although I admit I'd rather have more of them, so perhaps get the longer ones. However, two feet puts out a lot of light. Great for certain locations where you need very bright light in a work area but may be overkill or not big enough in most situations where a standard long shop light would work. Very sleek design.

Wow, these things are bright. I installed them in my glass workshop which already has bright LED fixtures built into the ceiling. I put this over her workbench and now it is like daylight. She loves it.It's especially cool how they can also link directly like an 8 foot light fixture.
