This is a nice shelving unit. It takes about 30 minutes for 2 people to put together. You really need 2 people - one to hold the frame while the other “hammers” it together. You do need to be careful, as the metal is not the heavy duty metal in the description, and can be easily bent. The frame seems very unstable until you get the entire unit assembled. Then it becomes a good, functional shelving unit. The shelves are a good size, and can hold a lot. You just can’t put anything heavy on them. Other than that, the unit is a great addition to any room that needs some organization.

I was considering giving this 3 stars because it is rather flimsy and light-duty. However, at the time of purchase, it was $20, which is not too expensive. So, for the cost of $20 or under, I find this to be a decent value if you don't need anything special or heavy-duty.When putting it together, I stepped on one of the cross-bars to help push it into to place, and it bent so easily I was surprised. Be careful putting it together as it's just that flimsy.4 out of 5 stars.

These are great shelves, sturdy, strong, easy to assemble. They can also be stacked if you have the right connectors. The shelves are a good size too, and can hold plenty of items.

These shelves are decent, but will bend easily until they are assembled. Luckily I only bent one and was able to straighten it out with the included hammer. Just be careful when assembling. Overall assembly took about 20 minutes and feels solid when complete. The shelved didn't bend anymore once they were assembled. The unit is light and was easy to move around with the help of another person (you need to lift from the vertical supports since the horizontal surfaced are held in by gravity). I'm happy with these.

My initial thoughts are likely going to be a common theme for these shelves. They are thinner and lighter weight materials than I was expecting.Once assembled tho this is a very serviceable storage shelf. I would maybe error on the side of caution with regard to weight of objects stored on the shelves. I have about 20 - 30 lbs on each shelf right now and it seems to be handling that just fine.Assembly Tip:This is one of those items that just goes together so much better with 2 people, just having the extra hands to hold something in place is a huge help.I will update this review if anything changes within 1 year. A 5-star rating indicates the product meets my expectations for its purpose.

I was very concerned after unboxing this shelf kit by just how paper-thin each component felt. Everything was flimsy. Not floppy - flimsy. So flimsy, in fact, that assembly is very difficult without a second person to keep the parts from falling over. However, I was pleased to see that, once the shelf was fully constructed, it was remarkably sturdy. I'm not sure how so many fragile parts managed to make something so strong. The phrase "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts" strikes as particularly poignant with this product.The steel in this product is galvanized, but if you allow it to become exposed to the elements (or get a scratch), it will surely start rusting. I plan to protect mine with some plastic sheets that were not included.For $30, this isn't a bad shelf. I wouldn't trust it for more than about 40 pounds (distributed evenly) per shelf, but it still adds additional valuable storage in our garage. If you have a larger budget, however, I would consider other options.

These 3-tier metal storage shelves are a good medium height, providing ample storage without being overly tall. The strong legs and shelves offer excellent support, easily holding heavy items. The shelves are also deep enough to accommodate larger storage containers. Assembly was surprisingly easy and straightforward.

Not gonna lie, I expected this shelving unit to be a pain to assemble, but it actually went together pretty easily—no rage-quitting required. The metal frame is sturdy enough to handle all the random tools, paint cans, and whatever else I’ve been meaning to organize in the garage.The adjustable shelves are a nice touch, making it easy to fit taller stuff without playing storage Jenga. Once it’s set up, it stays put—no wobbling or sagging, even when loaded up. If you’ve been meaning to get your workspace or basement in order, this thing will make you feel like an organizational genius (or at least like you tried).
