Easy to lay down and pin. Order extra pins. So strong it was easy to lay mulch down. I am ready to plant in border and not have to worry about weeds. Well worth the money to have a product you know iwill do the job you need it to do.I am very happy with my choice.

I'm redoing some much neglected parts of our yard this year, but I wanted to do it right so we avoid the weed problem that has developed. I saw this and decided to give it a try.First, it's a good length; there's a LOT here, and I'm glad for that because I have a lot to cover. I used it on our flower bed in front of the house and still had plenty for the vegetable garden I plan on making in the backyard. Set up was simple & straightforward, and the staples make sure everything stays put. I've never actually used a barrier before, but it was easy to do: I figured out where the plants go, cut an X in the barrier, and planted them. The lines helped ensure I kept everything pretty even. When I was done, I tossed gravel on top to hide the barrier.I love that as tough as this is, it also allows water through to keep your plants and soil from drying out (otherwise, what would be the point?). I really like this stuff, and for a first timer to doing this kind of work, it made me feel like a pro.

What can I say except the weed protection from this cloth seem just what I needed: perfect size and easy to unroll the amount needed in lengths needed. Good value for the money.

I bought this landscape fabric to keep weeds under control in my garden, and so far, it has worked really well. The material feels sturdy and doesn’t tear easily when laying it down. It allows water to pass through while blocking sunlight, which helps prevent weeds from growing underneath. Obvious right?Installation was straightforward—I rolled it out, cut it to fit, and secured it with landscape staples. It held up well even after heavy rain and didn’t shift out of place. One thing to note is that some stubborn weeds can still push through if not properly covered with mulch or gravel. Should hold up during its first season though.Overall, this fabric does a great job of reducing weed growth and keeping my garden beds neat. If you’re looking for a good balance of durability and breathability, this is a solid choice!

I usually get the smaller rolls or packs of this kind of weed barriers, but it is so much better to use a large roll. It covers much more ground at a time, so there was less cutting involved (my flower beds and the rows between my raised beds are large). The fabric is fairly thick and the weave is tight. I had no real issues with cutting and shaping the layout. The cut edges do get frayed, but that happens with every brand that I've tried. The fabric does help with most weeds and keeps light off of them, but lets moisture penetrate. However, we have a lot of bermuda grass, and that will poke through just about any fabric. It does help us keep ahead of the weeds.

I ordered the Palatala 3x300FT heavy-duty landscape fabric to prep the area for building a shed, and it’s been an excellent choice for weed control and site stability. It is thick and well-made with a solid 3.2oz weight that gives me confidence it will hold up under the concrete and gravel foundation. The included U-shaped staples made it even easier to secure everything into place. This fabric cuts cleanly with scissors and is simple to install with the green guide lines for accurate trimming. It lays flat and stays in place with minimal shifting, even before adding weight on top. I’m planning on using it under gravel and plan to place pavers and stone in the same area later on, and it feels strong enough to support both without tearing or bunching. It blocks sunlight very effectively, helping to eliminate weed growth before it even starts. At the same time, it allows water and nutrients to pass through, so it won’t suffocate the soil underneath. The breathability has kept the ground underneath from drying out too much, and the UV-resistant polypropylene has stood up well to full sun exposure without degrading. This fabric is built for high-traffic, heavy-use projects and works great for not only garden beds but also driveways, walkways, and construction prep. If you’re planning a serious outdoor build and want something that keeps weeds in check while lasting through the elements, this is a solid investment.

I haven't been able to try this out yet as we're still getting rid of the last of our snow and ice and the ground is still frozen down deep. The material feels much more substantial than the soft thin weed fabric I buy locally and that the weeds seem to love. This stuff actually feels like it'll stop or at least slow the weeds. I have the 3'x300' roll with 20 staples included. The first place I'll likely try it is in the mulch beds...removing all the existing mulch and placing this down directly on the soil underneath before putting new mulch back. It should work very well for that. I want to see how water permeates it before I try it around any shrubs or plants as I don't want them to dry out. I'm sure I'll need to find more staples as 20 won't likely be enough. It arrived very fast and well packed in a double box. Hopefully it'll work well this summer but if not I'll update my review.
