Bought two units, first the good; housing, grille are good quality finish metal with nice rounded lens, packed in a bubble wrap in a box. No damage. Comes with a 10/6 watt bulb.The bad, applicable to both; foam gasket was not sealed to license plate & taillight lens. After dismantling, back of bulb socket was not sealed where wires enter housing so added dielectric grease to socket and bulb. Applied a glue to the to hold gasket in place between housing and gasket, do NOT apply glue between lens and gasket. , Re-installed carefully insuring sealing. Will seal up the wire entry upon installing. I think this light wouldn’t last long after it’s first wash or exposure to rain. Re-installed carefully insuring sealing. Maybe the two I purchased were just rushed thru assembly.

Look good but very cheaply made . Good brightness . After one day in the rain the License light screws showed rust ,replaced them with stainless hardware. They have an aluminum grill but very thin light shell.

Initially got my motorcycle with the LED version of this. That light had so many problems with solder breaking and it lever worked. I decided to go with incandescent, it works great, it's been on my bike for over 8 months, works like a charm.

Cover gasket was installed by a seven year old so it was all pinched and crimped. It does not work as intended now. Wiring is eh and the rear grommet sucks. I think they stripped one bolt because its not perpendicular to the light and I couldn't unscrew it with my fingers. For the money I can make it work. If I have further complaints or praises I'll let the masses know.

Metal body; seems to be constructed well. Easy to mount and wire. However the ground wire on the one I received was barely soldered on and the joint broke. The gauge wire used is super thin and don't expect it to last in the Florida heat. Was easy enough to disassemble to repair it but disappointing seeing as it's supposed to be new. Like others have said the light isn't all that bright; I'll be upgrading it soon enough. Looks sweet mounted on the bike.Update: The wiring on this is horrible. Three times now I've had a solder fail. One for each wire. This is extremely dangerous as it leaves you with no light for either your plate lamp, turn signal, or brake. I wanted to like it; but having to rebuild the entire fixture is inexcusable.
