I got a monitor stand that wasn’t quite high enough, and these are the perfect thing to raise it up a little more. Of course, these work best if you specifically need the height and thickness that these provide. But living a modern life without a saw handy, plus a lack of skill to measure this precisely even if I had tools, it’s very nice to be able to obtain this kind of thing quickly and easily via Amazon. They all seem to have come out precisely the same height. The finish is good. They are simply a very basic and straightforward solution to a modern challenge. I haven’t tried it, but I imagine they would take paint quite easily if you wanted to match an aesthetic.

I had a 2 x 6 board that was about 2 feet long. I purchased these to glue to the bottom of the board to make a Riser for a painting. Turned out great!
