I bought a bird feeder camera for my wife that is mounted to our fence in the backyard. With the factory antenna the WiFi signal was medium signal strength. With one of these antennas the signal strength is now strong and we’re able to watch the bird cameras without the video buffering or cutting out. I highly these antennas.https://a.co/d/1NQOP3j

My security cameras had started to act up, so much so that half of the cameras would neither show the images nor videos would record. I replaced the antennas and at the same time, I changed the location of the dvr. Now I have picture in all four cameras, and the videos appear right away. Seems like the antennas have better gain than the old ones that were purchased with the full set in 2018. I figure, the connections corrode with time and pictures suffer due to low gain. The antennas are very long, but not much noticeable since the cameras are installed at corners of the building. I will see if I can apply some paint and see if it does not affect the gain.

I tested these (supposedly) higher gain WiFi antennas with my brand new WiFi router replacing the 4 stock WiFi antennas with these (supposedly) higher gain WiFi antennas. I did loop-back testing (just Google search "Internet speed test" and you'll find a ton of such sites to do such loop-back testing of your download & upload Internet speeds). I am saddened to say that these large antennas simply provided zero improvement in the distant areas of my large home, i.e., same loop-back Internet speed upload and download speeds as I had with the stock WiFi antennas. This is both for the 2.4 GHz as well as the 5.8 GHz bands, i.e., there was NO improvement(s) in either frequency band using these (supposedly) higher gain antennas. In addition to the foregoing, I used my WiFi frequency spectrum analyzer to look at the signal strength of the stock WiFi antennas vs. these much larger higher gain antennas and the effective isotropic radiated (EIRP) power seen on my WiFi spectrum analyzer in both WiFi frequency bands did not exhibit any difference insofar as higher gain between the stock WiFi antennas vs. these larger supposedly (NOT) higher gain antennas. This is why my WiFi radio frequency (RF) link-margins were no better off when using these larger antennas vs. the shorter / stock WiFi antennas (better link-margins, i.e., better / stronger RF signals) allow for better Internet throughput...but alas, that is NOT the case with these antennas. Buyer beware and definitively NOT recommended.

HAD 5 CAMERAS RANGING FROM 60 TO 180 FEET OUTDOORS. THESE BOOSTED THE CLOSER CAMERAS BY 1 BAR BUT THE FURTHER OUT IT WENT THE LESS EFFECT THEY HAD. IN FACT I ENDED UP GOING BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CAMERA ANTENNA AND IT WAS THE SAME BARS. I DID NOTICE AN INCREASE IN SPEED AND LESS DELAY IN THE FEED WHICH WAS NICE. I BELIEVE THE FURTHER OUT CAMERAS HAD MORE BRUSH/TREE INTERFERING WITH THE SIGNAL. IF IT IS UNOBSTRUCTED IT MAY HAVE BEEN BETTER.

Just what the doctor ordered. Ordered 4This antenna pulls in my distant security camera wireless signal in from a standstill of one bar to four bars, Works great 👍So I changed all the other cameras factory antennas to this one.Wow !!! What an overhaul that these antennas make for my wireless connection to the home base receiver.
