I was putting this on my Tao tao 125cc and as soon as I turned the switch it started smoking and almost caught fire. Very unsatisfied and very dangerous, also I tried getting a refund but I have to go nearly 30miles to take it back witch would make me lose money on it . Zero stars if I could.

The product is a good price and works as expected. However, BEFORE you plug it into your main harness, check the wire pattern to make sure all wires line up in the ignition connector with the wires on the corresponding main harness connector. I did not do this at first. I bought 2 of these, one for each of my Coolster 150s. As soon as I installed and turned the keys, I blew the 10amp fuses on both. I bought new fuses and blew those too. $10 in fuses (because they only sold assortment packs with one 10amp and I needed two) later and I realized the wires were crossed. So, while reasonably price, I spent an extra $5 a piece replacing blown fuses as a result of bad quality control. Check your wires FIRST and save money on blown fuses. Outside of this, they are working just fine now that I have adjusted the wire positions in the connector.
