This kit was used to rebuild the tilt/trim unit for a 1992 Evinrude 120. Most of the seals are equivalent to OEM and the fit seems to be fine. However, the trim RAM seals ARE NOT the same as OEM. The OEM trim rams use a shaped o-ring with 2 spacers. This kit provided a single o-ring with a single nylon spacer for each ram which is similar to that used in the Yamaha tilt unit. So far, the trim ram seals are working well and in some ways I like them better. The problem is that no instructions or drawings are provided and so it is left to the user to figure this out. You need to be careful when installing the nylon spacer. The quality of the seals is unknown...only time will tell. When refilling the unit with fluid, it is recommended to first fill the trim cylinders (all the way to the threads) and then fill the tilt cylinder. If you use this procedure, you will only need to add a small amount of fluid to the reservoir and will have no problem with air in the system.
