The first one I bought for my daughters Chromebook at school worked fine but another student accidentally ran into it and it bent the cable where it attaches and stopped working. I went ahead and purchased the same one again since it seemed to work well before that. My purchases were about 2 weeks apart..lol.. So far so good with this one!

I needed to replace the C Charger adapter I had for my ASUS Chromebook. I decided to search out the same adapter that initially came with the Chromebook, going by the model number. Fortunately, it was still available.This review is more to review the first adapter rather than the one I just received. As I said above, they are the same. I will come back to change my review if any issues arrive with the new one, such as overheating, etc..The first adapter came with the Chromebook. I purchased it in January of 2021. I had NO issues with it until August of 2024, when it became unreliable. Sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn't. This means I had 3 years and 7 months of SOLID performance.I'd say that's a stellar performance for a $10 adapter!
