This *might* work if you have T-Mobile as there are some auto settings in there for T-mobile. I have Google Fi and despite trying everything I can think of to try it doesn't work. I can connect to the MIFI wifi network but beyond that it doesn't work. Google help says to use APN h2g2 but this device won't take it. I tried multiple times, IPV4, IPV6, IPV4/IPV6 nothing. I'm a programmer, I'm pretty knowledgable on this stuff but there's no getting this thing to connect to the Google Fi network. The most annoying part is after every try you have to restart the modem and connect again because the control panel just boots you out to the login screen and won't accept a password. I don't doubt it works great in China but it won't work in the USA. I should have known as this is only the third review, the probably just change the name and resubmit it to Amazon after so many bad reviews.

This seems well worth the price but it won't do me any good because I don't know how to set it up. The data plans can be expensive and that's another drawback.
