The camera has a lot of great features and takes some getting used to. Some of the features lag and the voice control is hit or miss. It usually responds to your first command but giving it another within the first 5 minutes is disappointing. Usually won't work. As far as customer service, forget about it. You ask them for help and you explain everything you have done up until that point and they come back a few days later and tell you that the card needs to be formatted. You just wrote to them and told them all that. Apparently, they can't read or they refuse to read your email. Then they write you back and ask what card brand size etc is the card. That was in the original email. Then you respond and they don't like your response so they just quit responding. It has been 5 days since my last email with no response.

This is truely an awesome mirror dash cam for the price. it is 4k front camera and recording as advertised and comes with all stated accessories. the video files are saved in 4k mp4 files for front and 2k mp4 for the rear. photos are stored jpg. this allows you to remove the microsd and use video and pics from any computer or device. the voice commands work well and a must for hands free.now for the problem for me which is not the seller or manufacturers fault. the front facing camera is located such that it must be hung on the rearview closer to the driver. doing so, there is not enuff clearance for the cars sun visor. my recommendation is to measure between sun visors for 12” clearance minimum cheating 1” towards the driver. since my wife regularly drives with the sunvisor down, this one is sadly a no go and is going back. but, it is an excellent rearview dash cam and the price is unbeatable

Rear camera was plugged in but never displayed on the screen and when the front camera was recording it would stop after 10 seconds and restart. Don’t waste your money

Very bad experience. It change modes it's own. And always goes to play mode. Sometime even we can't bring it back to record mode. Have to disconnect power to bring it back. Reboot reset done several times. No use

I bought this in January 2023. Now after 8 months, the plugin power supply with the type C connector has failed. Therefore, the entire dash cam no longer works. I will not recommend this product.

I am returning it only because it is not clearer like a normal rearview mirror. When the screen is off, it should work as a rearview mirror but at night times or rain, cant see anything while driving..So I returning and buying a normal dashcam. All other features are excellent ok.Note imp : they tells it has 24 hours parking surveillance by installing a hardware kit which we need to buy separately.. I msged the seller to know from where I can get the hardware kit and the reply was like they didnt know about it🤨. I asked again and the reply was somewhat like the same. Keep this in mind when purchasing..- you are not going to get 24 hours parking surveillance, we will not get an info about where to get the hardware kit.

Many problems with this rear view mirror camera system.1) GPS quits working over and over. Have to disconnect and reconnect the cable.2) 24H Parking Surveillance & Time-Lapse quits recording after first Time-Lapse video.3) When the memory fills up it does not overwrite even though I disabled the G sensor so there is no locked videos. Have to format card over and over4) The G-sensor it too sensitive. When set to its lowest sensitivity it activates all time while driving down the road.5) When the G-sensor is activated the video that is being recorded gets locked and it does not stop locking the video until you manually push the button to stop it from locking the video. I had to disable the G-sensor because the video was being locked all the time and filled my 256GB card. The only thing that work is recording video while driving. But then there is problem #3 above.I hope that a software update can be installed to fix the G-Sensory sensitivity and to stop locking the video maybe 10 minutes after a collision is detected, because it detects many false collisions, so it doesn't fill the memory card with locked video.I purchased 2 of these mirrors. They both have the same problem in 2 different cars.

I didn't realize dash cams were relatively cheap, so after reviewing all of the different types and brands, decided to go with this mirror cam for my 2017 Kia Sorento since you don't have to put it on your windshield. I purchased the hardwire kit as well so that the 24 monitoring would work properly - note that there are also OBD2 hookup cables that should accomplish the same thing as the hardwire kit, but it would have to be plugged into the OBD2 outlet all of the time, and that may not be a viable option for some cars.UPDATE: 1.5 years later, the camera keeps rebooting, and then shuts off. I will be replacing with another dash cam!I took my time and reviewed YouTube videos on hardwire kit wiring and rear camera location/wiring, as those were the things that I wasn't sure about. It was much easier after figuring out which fuses and wires to tap into (specific to my car). After testing out of the box, the hardest part was the rear camera mount (on my rear upper inside plastic deck plate...hard to tell in the picture), reverse light wire tap, and feeding the wires to the front of the car. The hardwire kit to the front fuse box was much easier (after the YouTube videos, of course). One thing to note that hasn't been mentioned is that in the setup menu on the mirror, two lines of icons are shown. Well, the third line, when you scroll down, shows the option to format your micro SD card (as well as other setup options). You DO NOT NEED to format the micro SD card in another camera, computer, etc. - the mirror does it for you! After some trial and error (since this is my first camera install) I think it's good to go. About 4 hours to get everything in the right place, make sure everything was powered correctly, and hide all of the wires. As you can see, you can't hide the 3 wires at the top of the mirror very well, but it is what it is. I'm happy with my purchase so far!
