These post supports are strong, nicely finished and worked well. It's so convenient that one size fits on so many different sized posts. It they come in 2 sets which was exactly what I needed for my project. I also appreciated that the screw holes were in the center of the upright arm since I was using it on a 2x2. A couple things that would have made this better would be heftier screws. The ones that are included are rather small. And countersunk holes for standard wood screws. Still, I'm very pleased with these. Recommend.

I got this set to install a lamppost on a concrete slab near my driveway entrance. Since the actual lamp post bases are pretty expensive, I decided to get creative. I’m using this bracket kit with a 4x4 post and then attaching the lamp post on top.These brackets are heavy-duty and feel really sturdy—perfect for supporting wood posts like fences, pergolas, or in my case, a lamppost. The adjustable design made it easy to get a solid, level fit on the slab. The black finish looks clean and should hold up well outdoors.Overall, a great, cost-effective solution for mounting posts to concrete without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend if you want a strong base and a little DIY flexibility.

These fit perfectly around the boards and make for a very sturdy post. For the money, they are a good value. They were in square and serve their purpose admirably!

I needed brackets to install some posts on my back porch that I could then attach wire garden fencing to make an enclosure so my dogs could sit on the porch instead of being cooped up all day in the house. The fit the bill. Sturdy, adjustable and easy to use. Since I don't really construct things but take the easiest route to get things done, they are just what I needed.

These half post bases are wonderful if you need to repair something quickly or hold something up right. It comes with really good quality screws. I actually needed to fit my posts on one side. This was a quick way of fixing the posts without removing them completely. I was able to install them on a 4x4 and they fit perfectly. Really functional and great value for the cost. Especially with all the time I saved to fix something quickly.

These are pretty thick and heavy. Since they come in 4 different pieces, they can work for a variety of dimensions. The black paint seems like a good quality, no chipping, etc. They also come with screws, which is helpful. However, I don't think they're substantial enough for the bottom supports. You'll probably have to use larger screws for the bottom supports and those holes are the same size as the others, so you might run into issues there. Overall, they worked for what I needed them for.

These are pretty sturdy steel brackets that are 5 inches high. Being four individual pieces, it makes them more versatile since they can be put on four corners of any size post. or even just on two opposing corners if you want to save money. I measure the thickness of the steel at 2.7mm or 0.1 inch thick. This should be fine for 4x4 posts or smaller. I consider this marginal for larger posts like 6 x 6. They are finished smooth and have a good paint job on them.
