Some of the edges are really sharp as in knife sharp. Un-filed un-sanded metal edges will be that way. So wear leather gloves or exercise extreme caution using them. They are spin locks and they are 1”. A little overpriced for the quality. Might return. Haven’t decided.

Like everyone has mentioned, the thread on these are strange. They worked on my bench bar but not my dumbbells.

The screw channels need to be cut more deeply to accomodate all variations of Standard dumbell and barbell spinlock bars out there. Some of the 4 I ordered would spin on easily, while others would lock up after 1 or 2 turns on.

I purchased a set of 4 of these collars. Two of them would not fit at all and the other two were extremely difficult to get on the first time. The threads just don't match up correctly. Fortunately, I only needed two (the other two were spares). I guess 50% is better than nothing at all. Will not buy these again and don't recommend that anyone does.
