I got this to use with a NEMA SS2-50 generator cable I bought a few weeks ago. It's nicely constructed, and the cable plugs into it easily and securely. The front has a spring-hinged cover with gasket to improve the seal when it's not in use. I personally like SS2-50 inlets better than L14-30 & find them easier to attach & detach.

Very nice box to connect my generator to the home.Good SS2-50P connection.Easy to install and when closed, nicely water tight.Not overly bulky like many.

Exactly what I need for my 12000Watt generator. Build quality is excellent. Waterproof, and everything you need to install it is included. Has a waterproof door that latches when not in use. Standard size. Pair it with a manual transfer switch of your choice and it's a great purchase!
