We purchased these massive food-grade bags for the sole purpose of lining our maple syrup bins prior to filling. The first 6 all leaked, so we lost about 100 gallons of sap. If a company makes a food-grade bag, it shouldn't leak, because MOST food has fluid in it!

These bags are exactly what I was looking for! I needed Food-grade storage bags for Maple Sap storage in the Springtime tapping season. They are strong and HUGE! I already have used them for storing other items, like quilts and sleeping bags.

I am using this to line the inner sides of cedar vegetable grow boxes and a cedar compost box to protect the inside of them from excess internal water damage. This plastic is supposedly also food grade, and it is pliable so that one can smoothly put it close on an interior.
