Excellent product. I am very happy with the quality of the wood, stain, and metal fixtures. I use a breville portafilter that is smaller than the hole provided. Fortunately, I was able to 3D print an insert which seats it perfectly. Very affordable and great product, would highly recommend it.

Doesn't come with the metal piece to keep the portafilter level that you see in the pictures. It came with a little rubber sticker to keep it level that doesn't even stick, I had to super glue it to get it to stay. On top of that, every time I tamp it scratches up the wood around the portafilter holder, this clearly wasn't tested well.

Eine sehr schöne Klopfbox und Ablage für den Siebträger! Wobei die Ablage für den Siebträger bei den Meisten Klopfboxen nicht zuende gedacht ist! der tropft natürlich nach und die ständig feuchte Aussparung wird eventuell schimmelig oder einfach unhygienisch . Ein Stück Küchenpapier schafft Aushilfe . Wertiges und individuelles Holz. Wir müssen hinter die Box ein Brettchen stellen, weil es beim Abklopfen leicht über den Rand spritzt. Wahrscheinlich sollte der Sud Behälter mit einem Innenrand ausgestattet sein. Kein Problem aber eine Verbesserung .

The wooden block is glued from smaller pieces and they made absolutely no effort to make sure the pieces match in color/shade. So it looks like a patchwork of mismatched wooden boards, and not as pictured at all. Otherwise it is solid and well made.

if you like wood, you will like how the Coosigar 58mm espresso knock box looks. It is dark walnut with an an off-white (beech) veneer horizontal band. I assume the beech band is a veneer as opposed to inlay.The workmanship is flawless. Every joint fit perfectly. Each of the holes (73.5 mm, and the two 60 mm) were cut cleanly and perfectly, and sanded smoothly. The staining of all the wood was even.I had been using a 7 inch diameter x 6 inch high stand-alone knock box, and I was skeptical that I would like the horizontally-oriented knock box design of the Coosigar. I thought it would be a mess after tamping the puck or my fingers would be dirty after emptying the knock box. However, I am glad to report the Coosigar knock box works really well, is easy to empty, and does not make any more of a mess than my previous 7x6 knock box.Taken together, the box looks great, I am impressed with the quality of the wood they used and how well it was made, and the knock box works quite well. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered the 51/54mm box however it doesn't matter, the hole for the filter is still cut for a 58. Did they send me the wrong one? Not sure, and not a bit deal. My custom portafilter's handle is right where it will lock this into place and it still works great.The knock box is nicely made and can be used either laying down or you can prop it up. The bar is a sturdy silicone that will not damage your portafilter. The two circles fit a 58mm tamp/level nicely (don't have one, but they will fit). However the brush that is included, has no place to store. A simple hole is all you need, but nope, just lay it down.All in all though, this is a nice espresso station and I will get many years of used out of this guy! Even though I received what I believe is the 58mm, it still gets the job done. Nicely made and a very nice weight.
