I really love these seed starting trays. There are three parts to this, a water tray, plant cube tray, and the clear topper. Its nice that they can be vented and adjusted. I started my veggie plants in these and they are working great so far. Would definitely recommend.

Seed Starter Tray with Lid Plastic Germination Kit Mini Indoor Outdoor Greenhouse Garden (Black)These trays are thick material on the outside edges which makes me think they will last for a few seasons. However I did find the mid section a bit thinner on the middle, so these are less long lasting than I anticipated. Very tiny drainage hole that should be enough to let water pass through.Overall, I like that the kit comes with the mat, tray, and cover. Overall at this price I think it is a worthwhile purchase.#

It is January, I have bags of seeds, plans, empty beds and containers and my trusty PH meter all ready but I need to wait for it to warm up enough to start my seeds in this awesome little tray. This is perfect for starting seeds and strurdy enough to be reusable, so I will be germinating a few rounds of seeds early and often as soon as it warms up enough to start germinating. Right now, there is still snow on the ground, but that won't last long! I'll be busy with seedlings before I know it!

I got these to start a few seeds indoors on top of my fridge. They worked well for that. The plastic is sturdy and the domes as well. These aren't huge and they won't hold the seedlings for long before they need transplanted, but they're perfect for starting just a few indoors and then potting them up.

The best thing about this set of seed-starting trays is that their cells are large enough to fit peat pellets into. The worst thing is the build quality. The plastic material is thin and flimsy. The inner trays would be okay if they had sturdier outer trays to support them, but these are so thin and brittle that the rims repeatedly cracked and split when I tried to separate one from the stack. Fortunately, I have a supply of sturdy outer trays that I can use with these inner trays and domes.The humidity domes are adequate for the relatively short time they're needed for the germination phase. They have vents to control the moisture level. And these low-profile domes fit into my shelving better than the tall domes that came with my other trays of this size.This product might be an okay option if the price goes low enough, assuming you don't want to reuse the trays. But compared to the more rugged trays out there, these don't make the cut for me.
