I saw a few reviews where people said it was hard to unlock. You need to make sure the key is in correctly. The notch in the key goes towards the "X" on the lock. Mine works great.

This king pin lock is easy to use. It's great to have some added since of security. The lock is thick metal, however the chain is plastic. That's not an issue really.
