It does what it says on the tin. It's a simple and durable rubber mat. While I can't really be mad about rubber smelling like rubber, the smell is really intense. Let it sit outside for a month before bringing it inside, which will take 2 people.

I bought this mat for my home gym to match the thickness of other 3 mats that I have that measures 3/4 but it surprised me when I found out that this item doesn’t measure 3/4 of an inche as they indicate. Becareful do not buy it if you expect 3/4 of an inch thickness.

This mat gives off a really strong unbearable rubber odor that may it impossible to keep or use indoors.Like another reviewer I left it outside for over a week and even washed it but the odor would not go away.Great mat if you’re trying to get rid of squatters.!I was forced to return it…

Fitvids: Heavy Duty Thick Real Rubber Mat Exercise Equipment Floor Mat, 6 ft. x 4 ft., 3/4" Thick12.19.24What's good:. Solid rubber(much stronger than using ground up old tires). Heavy duty. Good price even if less than 3/4 inch thick. Quick deliveryCons:. Rubber knobs or bumps on top side are a little aggressive for standing on, would prefer smooth, but wearing shoes it's ok. The mat can be turned over with the rubber bumps on the down side. The top side would now be the side with grooves or channels which might be better than the bumps and is smoother.. The mat is about 5/8 inch thick if you add the bumps for the total thickness. These are not near as heavy duty as a real 3/4 inch mat. The item specs need to be updated with the correct information.. A smooth two-sided real 3/4" solid rubber mat would be significantly more heavy duty. But it likely would weigh around 150lbs, and cost a lot more.. At 88 lbs it is hard to move and carry, primarily because it is bulky. This is both good and bad. A good heavy-duty mat will be like that.. As others have said, it does have a very strong new rubber smell. Actually a little excessive for in home use at 1st. I currently have it in a room with the door shut and the windows open - with a fan blowing to help air out the mat. As others have said this may take several weeks. One reviewer thought 2 weeks was not long enough, others have said a month or so works ok. Well, just remember to close the windows if it rains. :)

Heavy, but exactly what I needed. Smelled for days, though, and I had to leave it outside, spray it down with a hose and apply white vinegar before moving it inside.

Only 1/2 inch thick, not 3/4. But good mat otherwise.

I live in an apartment and worse, on the 2nd floor, so I had to make sure I reduce the noise as much as possible and do not damage the floor. This rubber mat and bumper plates made me a little bit ok tossing my plates around. Expensive but worth it and way better than the puzzle silicone mat. It has already paid for itself when my 45lb bumper plate slipped and fell on it and it took the fall like nothing and no damage on the floor and minimal sound.Pros- Heavy and high quality- Round pattern prevents weights from rolling and provides a really great grip for squatsCons- Yea it did have that new wheel smell, really strong the first week, gradually reducing until 5-6 weeks. Cleaning multiple times helped reduce but will still be there.- Round pattern makes it hard to wipe clean compared to a flat mat, you must use a mop- Really hard to cut, I ended up giving up. Maybe a pros?

This mat was heavy duty, sturdy, protected the floor, was easy on the feet BUT and it's a VERY BIG BUT, it had an obnoxious odor that was totally unbearable that never went away. I left the mat outside for two weeks hoping the smell would finally be gone or at least unnoticeable or at least something that we could live with. BUT this was something you couldn't live with in a house or even garage with normal people who have a sense of smell. It was literally that bad.
