I don't believe for a second that these wheels can support 700lbs each... the metal that frame the wheel is too thin and you have to take into account the soil's thickness... the wheel is too narrow. I'd say they can handle 400lbs/castor on any hard surface.

These casters are heavy and great quality. I add casters to lots of furniture for a pop of color and ease in moving around. These were added to a tall footstool.

These use a very standard 75mm x 45mm bolt pattern which is handy when replacing wheels that came on a machine, which is what I used these for. They are double locking which is the only type of locking caster that I will buy. These come with mounting bolts/nuts and mounting screws, which is a nice value. The length of the bolts might not work for your application, but it's nice that they include them regardless. It's a good add to the nuts and bolts junk drawer in my toolbox.I'm only holding up about 350 pounds on a set of four of these casters, so not really a test of their load-bearing ability. But they roll smoothly on my garage floor and lock both the roll and swivel, which is exactly what I need them to do.I had a smaller, 3" version of these casters and after 5-6 years in my 100+-degree garage the orange plastic wheels did crack. But the heat in my garage kills everything eventually.. I've had the glue holding on a screwdriver handle melt and the handle fall off. Any plastic caster will crack/dry rot eventually. The cure for that is to buy solid steel caster wheels. But they are 4x-5x the cost and don't usually roll too smoothly, but that is the price you pay for almost indestructible casters. I'll keep using these and replace them every 5 years or so.Would buy again (and likely will have to).

I'm extremely pleased with these wheels! They're incredibly sturdy, look great, and glide smoothly. They even came with all the nuts and bolts I needed to attach them to my homemade cart. The orange material on the surface doesn't scuff up my floor either, which I appreciate! The description says each one can carry 700lbs and I absolutely believe it! They even feel high quality; no loose parts, everything fits tightly together. The wheel locks work great too! If you need to roll something heavy around, these wheels are worth considering!

I bought the product because it said it was strong enough to hold 2800 pounds. Flat cart had the four wheels exactly spaced in each corner pressure point of the 800 lb load I wished to roll around in my garage. The wheels did not want to change direction in the metal base bracket buckled, and then the bearing center started to open on three of the wheels. I was lucky that I had Jacks in the garage that I could lift the load off the corrupted wheels. 800 pounds of evenly distributed deadweight, and it would not hold up.What a waste of time in my day, and I can’t even put my car back in the garage until I get another set of wheels that Amazon recommends.I myself would not buy these again ever the urethane started to pull away from the wheel, and the wheels wouldn’t spin. What a waste of time effort I couldn’t be more livid.

Used to rebuild generator dolly, needed heavier wheels. Locking wheels are easy to use, work great, poitioned 1 inch from edge so they work easily. Wheels move easily with heavy generator on them. Could not use bolts as my wood was 3x4 plywood top framed by 2x6. Very good quality

(See ratings explanation below the review)I used these to make dollies to move furniture during our home renovation. These are capable of moving much heavier things and I will probably repurpose to put under machinery in my space limited work shed.Based on a little research, these appear to be less expensive than comparable wheels so I was pleasantly surprised at the apparent quality. I have no way to test the upper weight limit that is advertised but am certain they exceed my needs. My ratings system:5 stars...... I'm blown away by quality & value... a must buy! (I rarely give this)4 stars..... Pleasantly surprised, better than expected3 stars..... as advertised, got what I expected, any pros/cons balanced2 stars..... a little disappointed, I had hoped for better1 star ..... avoid, waste of time and money, junk (I rarely give this)

I ordered these for a custom work table I built. I'm not sure how much it weighs but I would guess it's around 4-500lbs (1/4" steal materials). After installing these wheels, I can now easily move it around the garage (it didn't move at all before, hence why I needed the wheels). I haven't noticed any flexing in the wheel material and they roll smoothly across the floor. The locks on the wheels hold it in place well but there is some wiggle if I shake the table hard (it's to be expected once you put wheels on it). I would NOT trust these locks to hold if you're on any sort of incline so be very careful of that. My use is a totally flat floor and I don't plan on every moving it up/down any sort of ramp.Overall, I think these are good and if you're needing to add some mobility to your project, these should do the job as long as it's just something that gets moved rarely.
