Totally mislabeled as for voltage. This is a 5volt unit but needs a 120/240 volt unit. At 5 volts, probably a DC current unit. These deep fryers are NOT DC current.

This Fryer Thermostat is a total dud! The quality is trash, and it can't even handle basic oil temperature calibration. As a result, the oil temperature keeps rising, leading to overcooked and burnt food.

Described as working for electric fryers, but will only work on gas fryers. Waste of time because of product description.
