As a professional automotive technician who specializes in European vehicles, I have replaced lots of these commonly failed expansion tanks. I am a firm believer in genuine parts but I have used a few aftermarket unit with mixed results so was pleasantly surprised with this item.I recently needed to replace a leaking tank on my personal BMW 535i and thought I'd give this one a try. The quality of the tank seems to rival the OE brands....so far. The plastic quality seems good and the cap is nice as well. I've been running this tank for about 2 weeks now and so far so good. I will update if anything changes. As of now I am rating this tank at 5 stars for quality and value.
