I have an older Jet shaper with this same switch. The motor is reversible and the switch controls it under full load vs. using a separate motor contactor. The OEM switch fell apart one day so I started the process of searching for a replacement. Jet no longer lists the part for sale so I wasn't sure what would work. When I found this new switch, I couldn't believe it.It is labeled exactly like the old OEM one. It's also dimensionally the same. I connected it up to power and the motor, putting the jumpers in place, then fired off the tool. It worked perfectly first time!I wholeheartedly recommend this switch/box combo. It is such a nice piece of equipment and a great value. Really well built. I am sure it's going to last me many years. Order with confidence.

I ordered this changeover switch for my Atlas 618 lathe. The body is plastic with an O-ring seal for the switch panel. The switch has nice, positive clicks when turned form position to position. It comes with two internal cable clamps to keep your wiring secure, and overall seems to be solidly constructed. There are electrical knockouts on the top and bottom, and two predrilled mounting holes on the rear, with blanks for two more, if you need them. If you were going to mount and use it outdoors, you would certainly want to follow the NEC for devices that will be used in wet conditions.
