I wanted to like this…. The original stator from Yamaha is almost $800 but you get what you pay for….. I installed it….ran it did a volt check and it was putting out the bolts I needed at the time….. under load it wasn’t….The connecting plug didn’t fit very well and by the time I checked after running it the stator and zip ties were melting……I take my boat 40miles plus offshore so I don’t want to chance it…..I got the original part from Yamaha!

Works great, old stator was putting out 11.3v. This one is at 14v on the first start at idle.

Worked very well.Put out 14.3 volts ! Also looks more durable than the 700 dollar yamaha stator.
