this was exactly the ambiance i wanted in the living room. i was so excited when i set it up. however, the remote has 8 modes; yet they all looked like this. i was hopeful that i could have it all white. or even holiday themed as advertised. nope. very disappointed

This is hands-down, our our favorite tree. This lives in our entryway, and it is on 24 seven. It is basically our night light, daylight, birch tree of awesomeness! Especially because it's not Christmas themed, no one really complains so excited, you gotta take our Christmas lights down. Because it's not Christmas, it's birch mass! Seriously though we love this thing.

When I first set this tree up, the top part was colored and the bottom part was white lights. I went through the settings and it didn’t fix it, so I tried unplugging the part where the two sections hook together and flipping one end over. It fixed the problem. They apparently need to go together one specific way. Now all of the lights are in unison.It’s a cute tree. Sets up easily. Adds nice ambiance.

I bought this lighted birch tree to decorate for Christmas, but I feel like it could be used for a variety of things like plays, school dances, weddings, banquets, etc. The cord length is very long and comes with a USB adapter to plug into the wall. Assembly was easy to put the three pieces together (stand, trunk, and branches), and took about 10-15 minutes to get the branches looking the way I wanted them. The lights have different settings with the push of a button. I wish they had wrapped the electrical cord under the birch tree wrap further down on the trunk because it is very obvious and you can see the cord easily. It would have been better if the cord came out at the base instead.

The tree is beautiful and I was hoping I could use it in all white to go with my Christmas theme this year, but the top branches only light up in color. So no matter what option I pick, I can only have white on the bottom part, and color every where. So I had to go with the blinking colored. Not sure if this is a defective one or if this was intentional, but it is weird to have a half white/ half multicolor tree if you want steady lights. Other than that it is very easy to put together, easy to install, timer works and I love the remote to change the pattern of the lights. It came very compacted in a box and I believe it will be easy to put it back in the box and store it in the garage.

The promotional photos in this listing show that you can light up the whole tree with warm white lights and the instructions that come with the tree also make the same claim (use #1 on remote), but unfortunately pressing #1 is programmed to do white light at bottom and colored lights at top. We wanted this for its white lights so this is a real bummer.Otherwise, the base is also very flimsy. We wanted to put on our front stairs so the stakes aren't useful and there is no way, the base would support the tree through the slightest breeze.Disappointed. Too bad because the birch look is pretty convincing.

I really was disappointed that I wasn’t able to light up this tree with no colours…just wanted it to-be WHITE.Never ever ordering another one.
