I bought these mainly because I was constantly banging my head on the chandelier hanging over the dining room table. Got the 4 pack so I could also change a couple of hallway lights and the old, ugly halogen fixture in the bathroom.These are very cool looking and quite bright projecting a very even pool of light.Easy to install with the supplied mounting hardware.A nice feature is the ability to change the color temperature (i.e. the tint of the light) via a 3 position slide switch. 3000K is yellowish, 4000K is pure white, and 6000K is blueish.The slide switch is not accessible once the lamp is installed on the ceiling. Not a deal breaker though as I don't anticipate that one will want to change the color temperature very often, if ever, after installation.Recommended !
