These knobs are a bit smaller than many other 1/4x20 knobs I have used in the past. This makes them ideal for using in tight spaces. I ended up using mine to replace the larger ones that held a sacrificial fence to my miter gauge. The attached image shows one on the right compared to the larger one I used originally on the left.Other than that, they are pretty standard fare.

These 6 lobed star thru knobs are just as described in the listing.Fit and finish is decent.Plain steel inserts, which are fine for most shop uses.I wouldn't use them outside.Actually, these aren't suitable for most of the suggested applications in the listing, other than t-track jigs.Marketing dept got a bit carried away.Fine for shop jigs, though.
