Was overhauling my MTD 5/22 snowblower and needed to replace damaged shave plate. This part was an exact fit, good quality metal shave plate. Recommend purchasing new bolts for the shave plate. Most difficult part of installation was removing the old bolts.the shave plate should have about 1/8” clearance set by the shoes.

Took the old one off. And the new one bolted right up. No modifications needed.
