If you have one of these wonderful old Handspring's your life ends up in it. I have two of these backup modules and they work flawlessly and a great and well thought out product. Highly recommend it if you have a Handspring or Visor

I am happy to have this due to handspring and palm are no longer being made so it is harder to find different parts to PDA's. I love that you just pop it into the PDA and it asks if you want to restore and just hit ok and it downloads all your previously saved data.

A lot of computer programs are no longer compatible with Visors,but springboards take the computer's place-nicely.Everything has to be backed up once in a while,and the way I look at it you should do it before taking out and replacing your batteries,too.This does a perfect job of that

Well it does the one thing that is missing from most palm PDAs, and that is it offers peace of mind in that should the batteries fail for whatever reason; you can quickly restore your data from the back up module. Since the problem with most palm PDAs is that they lack flash ram to store data, and data is stored in volatile ram; should there be any problems with your batteries your data can be corrupted or lost completely.

It is exactly what I needed. I got the PDA and it didnt have the "brain" part. luckily i found this @ a low price and now I have my whole PDA and couldn't be happier.
