The base is all made of plastic. This has me worried it will not last long. The seat did fit right in place of the old take off seat which was nice. I give it 3 stars beca use of the plastic base.

Seat is super nice, but did not line up with the factory holes for the old seat. It also did not have a good place for the seat pressure switch. The seat is also very hard to adjust with you sitting on it. As long as you can drill holes and hook up a toggle switch you will be good to go! The springs are soft and the seat is firm so it feels awesome to sit on. Just a little tricky to install by yourselfUpdate: 4 years laterThe plastic has cracked and I'm purchaseing a new seat but the foam is still firm, springs never failed over years of extremely heavy duty usage. I changed my rating from 3 to 5 stars, I couldn't be happier with how this seat performed over the last 4 years!
