I made 6 lugs that each need a 3/8” threaded hole. I drilled these holes with a 5/16” bit and proceeded to use the 3/8” bit in this set. I finally got one hole threaded after over an hour of work, the whole time thinking the tap was about to break. The holder was also poorly made with threads that jammed.I went to a local auto parts store and bought another tap. With it I tapped the other 5 holes with each taking about 4 minutes (yes, I timed it).Don’t waste your money on this set. Now I’m 2 weeks past the return cutoff date and stuck with these poorly made tools.
