Definitely agree that the instructions are complete crap. My buddy and I figured it out pretty easily, but the instructions that come are basically unreadable and the images are so bad they are not even usable. Throw them away and just install it. Product seems decent - we switched out the bolts with stainless steel ones from Ace, otherwise the rust would be unavoidable. But if you have the ability to look at youtube to figure out where the switch goes, then it's a pretty easy install and seems like it's going to do the job it's intended to do. Beats $500 from Harley. As the other reviewer said, if you have heat deflectors, you're going to have to move them to put the switch on. Worth it for the price for sure.

Instructions horrible, blurry pictures with no usable text, just says, "like picture". Had no idea where to mount the lever that adjusts the seat so I used a competitors like product video to figure that out. Be aware that if you have wind deflectors the left one has to come off because this is where the lever mounts. It does already have a factory slot and the screw did line up. Seat bracket seems sturdy enough, the pad itself moves a lot but it's not bad. The bracket that goes on your fender is straight not curved like the fender so be careful on tightening. Overall, seems to work as described but a lot of effort on my part - we'll see how it holds up.
