Our fancy expensive refrigerator with the ice and water dispensers in the door, has had the water shutoff valve inside die twice in the last year. Both times it made a huge flooded mess in the kitchen and the ice maker worked only when it felt like it, which was an absolute pain. Thank God we were home to stop the water before it flooded the house and basement! You don’t think of things like this when you buy a fancy beautiful refrigerator… until you face the reality of things failing.In researching countertop ice-makers on Amazon, only this Aietto unit had no 1 or 2 star reviews. Some even more expensive units from well-established brands couldn’t say that. The main complaints are noise and equipment failure. So far, I can’t say anything about the longevity, but I can tell you this unit is QUIET.This amazing little countertop unit solves several problems:1) It makes ice VERY quickly (and quietly, whenever we want), so no trips to the store to buy ice, and no noise; we keep the ice we make in a silicon bag in the freezer.2) No worries about water quality, chemicals, microplastics, or even replacing expensive refrigerator water filters: we use our pure self-distilled and balanced water (see Megahome distiller) to make healthy soft ice which is perfect for cocktails, sodas, and ice tea.3) No worries about water valves failing and ruining our home by flooding. It has a small reservoir, and when the ice bucket is full it shuts off.4) It is simple, attractive, well thought out and designed, as well as easy to clean! Love the ice scoop that comes with it!5) No more buying expensive fancy refrigerators; this is a life (and lifestyle) changing solution which will save us money moving forward on so many fronts.

Love this icemaker! My ice maker went out in our fridge so decided to purchase this and couldn’t be happier with this purchase! Great little nugget ice that is wonderful to eat also!! Just make sure you start making the ice plenty time ahead. Does take a while to make the bucket full but very pleased with the ice production! Very pleased with purchase and would recommend this product.

Think twice about buying from this seller. I received this as a gift and it stop working with 2 months. The company who sells this machine will not respond to my emails even with a warranty . I believe I just have a lemon because I loved it when it worked but the company is terrible. Beware

Such a fun invention to own! It makes those little ball ice cubes like the gas station! It's helping us stay hydrated! I use tap water and 2 or 3 large glasses of water poured into the machine will last at least 1 day for us, with 2 heavy ice users in the house. No leaking. Easy to clean. My only gripe is that it can be a little loud. Put it somewhere the noise won't annoy you 😂

Granted I've never had an icemaker before. However if they meant a few bits of ice in 5 minutes is a "round" then, yes, you can have a first round in 5 minutes. Basketful? who knows. i don't have time to sit around and watch ice being made.
