My truck drives much better after using this. It used to hesitate a lot, especially at low speeds, but now the power feels smooth and steady. Acceleration is more responsive and the engine sounds more natural. It made daily driving more comfortable and predictable.Setup was simple and took only a few seconds. I plugged it in and it started working right away. There was nothing to change or adjust. The small blue light is a nice touch and shows it’s active. I have not had any problems with it so far.

I installed this AFM disabler in my truck and it made a noticeable difference. The constant switch between V4 and V8 used to bother me—especially the change in sound and power. This little device fixed that right away. The ride feels smoother and more consistent now. Installation was easy—just plug it in and go. I did notice a small drop in fuel mileage, but it’s worth it for the better driving experience. I like that it doesn’t mess with the ECU permanently. Just unplug it and everything goes back to normal if you changed your mind.

While AFM seems to be a good idea for fuel saving, the rough change of the running model of the engine is not comfortable in terms of both driving experience and sounds from the engine. After trying software solution which does not work well, I opted to this small dongle on the OBD portal. The use is very simple with plug in and play, no more fancy programming or update on the firmware of the car. Once plugged, the AFM never turns back on, which is all I want.

Plug this to my dad’s Silverado 1500 and it went in fine. He’s been annoyed with how the engine would sometimes shift between different cylinder modes during slower driving and it made things feel uneven. since using this, It holds steady in V8 and the ride feels a lot smoother. He says it’s not a dramatic change but enough to notice and it just drives more like he expects. The fit in the port was snug but not a big deal. It’s been almost 2 weeks now and there haven’t been any issues or error lights.

Plugged it in and it worked instantly—no setup, no tools needed. It disabled the AFM/DFM on my truck just like I hoped, and now the ride feels smoother with no more awkward cylinder deactivation lag. This works as expected and well. I got it and installed it with ease right near the pedals. No issues at all. I noticed that this allowed smoothing transmission workings while this was plugged in. I did not need any scanner or computer to use this or anything along the lines which is nice. I love that this allows for smoother and more responsive shifts and more from my transmission as well as power from the engine. I like how it does not look big or bulky at all either while plugged in. I really apprecaite the fact that all of this is easy to use and do, as simple as plug it in and unplug it and there are no issues or repercussions.
