While I appreciate the idea of shutting down some cylinders to save fuel, the 2012 Tahoe this was used with was losing a lot of performance and I'm not at all sure getting much fuel savings in return. Plugging in this unit stopped the AFM immediately and with no fuss at all. Couldn't have been simpler, and at $50 when I ordered it, worth every penny.

I have had one row of lifters replaced In my suburban. So I got this to keep it as a V8 always. Wow! I can feel the power. Mileage does down a little. But performance makes up for it. Plugged in under my steering column

This AFM/DFM Disabler has given my '07 Yukon new life. I wish I had known about this sooner. Several years ago I had to have major repair work done. I suspect it was due to the Fuel Management system since the symptoms sounded like what was described. I noticed my engine was running much smoother almost immediately after installing the AFM/DFM Disabler. I can tell a big difference when merging into highway traffic. Definitely recommended.

This device works exactly as advertised for my 2010 Chevrolet Suburban. After plugging it into the OBD port, the AFM is disabled and the vehicle stays in V8 mode. It's functioning perfectly and has made a noticeable difference in performance. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
