Nice splitter makes it a breeze and is the quietest way to split wood that I have found so far, I do find that you need a very very powerful drill that can have RPMs and torque at the same time because if you have a two-speed drill without much power then you will be clicking it from low to high very often. Sometimes the wedge gets stuck into a knot or something and you have to back it out but sometimes the threads back out before the wedge does so I had to go in and tack weld the adapter to the wedge itself so they should really include some sort of locking mechanism there which would be very easy to implement into the manufacturing process. I suppose you could also use Red loctite but I just wanted to make sure so I welded it.

This product doesn't stay sharp. It dulls after a couple of cuts and is useless.
