I went to a garage sale a few years back and found a marching timpano. And darned it, how the heck could I pass that up?! I just didn't have any sticks. So here they are...as stated by name, and the little green band, these are medium-firm. They're lightweight, fairly smooth in the hands, and make a good impact on the head of the drum.As I'm more of the Aux player, I brought these to rehearsal tonight and had our timp player try them out as well. Although he's used to his own particular mallets, he was quite happy with them, and they sounded darned good from where I was standing. So yeah, I'm happy now to have mallets for my li'l timp, and delighted that they're actually pretty good!

this makes my crystal bowl sound even better.can’t use for continued sound while running around the bowl. just for single hit.good for gongs.
