Here are some things to know when you order this part.1) MOST IMPORTANT: disconnect the negative cable on your battery before beginning. Seriously, do this.2) The arms are IDENTICAL. And that's OK.3) There is a square bracket. It's an adapter plate. Use the included (2) small screws to mount the adapter plate to the brass threaded sockets on the sensor. Make sure to use the dimpled holes for this.4) Use the included (2) large screws to mount the adapter plate/sensor to your Rover. Make sure the wiring harness is at the same angle as the one you are pulling off. It would make more sense with pictures. Sorry, didn't take any.5) There is another bracket for the sensor arm to attach to. If your old one isn't broken, just use the old one. It's already mounted and the sensor fits right on it.6) Yes, this sensor has 3 wires and yes, your old one probably has 6. That's OK, it works just fine.7) Once you're finished, reconnect the battery. The Rover might lower a little bit, that's OK. If you did it right, the status on the dash will show everything nice and level. If you try to do this without disconnecting the battery, it will not work right.8) VERY IMPORTANT: You do NOT need to recalibrate ride height. You do not need to visit a dealer after replacement. It's plug and play if you follow the instructions above.I wish there were some instructions included about the adapter plate. That would have been very helpful.
