I noticed that the air filter appears to be made of a different material that the OEM one - almost a mesh vs. a fiber. I think it will still do the job of keeping most of the dust out of the internals. And might be easier to clean, which will become clear after further use. I just finished my three big trees that came down in a storm so that will be later this summer probably. I noticed the saw did run a little better with this new air filter vs. the old clogged one, so that's as expected and also good to note.The air filter fit. I didn't check the spark plug gap but it looks exactly the same size as the last few spark plugs I've used for this saw. The other hoses and filter parts are nice, but I didn't' need them at this time.I think the value is decent for the money, assuming the air filter holds up.
