Don’t waste your money on this annoying piece of aluminum. All it did was whistle and and annoy the hell out of me. No gains at all did 0-60 and actually made my truck slower. I got a SVT Raptor with the high output 5.4 which has been modified from factory and myself. Of all the mods I have done this has been the biggest waste of money. Not bad product quality tho is built well but just not designed by engineers, designed by enthusiasts who don’t understand how air-flow works.

Very easy install. Everything required is included. Noticed some improved throttle response for sure but nothing dramatic. Very quiet whistle sometimes, but I have to turn the a/c off, radio off, and window down to hear it. Installed on a 2010 Ford F-150 5.4 with K&N Cold Air Intake.

Very easy to install , as for the whistle noise my aftermarket exhaust over powers it . Just recently purchased so I don't know just yet if I'm saving on gas . But I did noticed that it has giving my 07 Expedition a little more get up.

Installed this in a matter of minutes on my 06 F-150 5.4L. Hardware was adequate. Performance wise, it does what it says. Definitely provides a torque gain, but the cost of that might be too high with the whistle it emits. Haven't decided if it's going to stay on or come off, yet. Depends on whether there is a MPG gain.Noise isn't pleasant like a turbo spooling up, it's more akin to a dog whistle. I'll update if/when it comes off.**UPDATE** - 1-26-2014For those of you with a K&N CAI, do not mount this spacer BEFORE the 90 degree elbow into the manifold. That was causing the terribly annoying whistle. After reasoning through the issue, the whistle is caused by the air rushing over the ridges on the interior of the spacer prior to bending 90 degrees. I changed the location this past weekend and the whistle noise is gone. Throttle response is even better at low RPM in the new location. Directions for the item are subpar, and should be updated to include CAIs. (Docking 1 star for that reason) No MPG gain to speak of, yet. Bonus - looks pretty cool in the engine compartment.

I was skeptical given the price and where this item is to be installed, but it was actually very easy to install. The hardware and instructions included are key to how easy the project was. I do in fact hear a high pitch whistle when touching the gas. I will see what the effect is on MPG in up coming weeks.

Installed w/ SynthaMax filter kit. Fit perfectly under the hood.Looks great. Easy to install. The back of the throttle body is alittle tough to get to...small hands would be better.The "whistle" can't be heard if the radio's on (with very little volume). "Normal" ears won't notice it.It does sound like a factory turbo spooling up. The theory is questionable but, the overall unit & installation is pretty cool.I assume it allows for better operation...

This is the single cheapest part to add 10 to 20 more HP right off the line and thru the midrange cycle. Other reviewers not that impressed, but using this spacer with the k&n air filter makes my 2010 5.4 L sound as good as it runs. No truck touches me anymore and I get out of first gear so fast now I have to wait for second or the truck will break loose like crazy! So pleased, way to go PowerAid!!!
